“I have spent nearly my whole life with horses, and I understand how special the connection is between horse and rider.
I combine my passion for photography with my lifelong love of horses to bring my clients the best in equine photography.
I am committed to capturing that special connection with my camera for my clients.”
Jessica Duffy was born and raised in the small and beautiful town of Sebastopol, California. Her love for photography was cultivated at a young age through trips with her middle school Sonoma Country Day School to locations such as Point Reyes National Seashore and Yosemite National Park where the natural beauty inspired her to begin taking photographs. While attending Analy High School she took a class in traditional black and white photography which allowed her to hone her skills and improve her technique. She graduated in May of 2013 from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, where she attained degrees in Business Administration and Studio Art, with a concentration in Photography.
Jessica has had a passion for horses since she was three years old. She began taking lessons when she was nine years old, and was competing by the age of 12. Currently riding at Chocolate Horse Farm in Petaluma, California, she competes in the discipline of Eventing with her Off-the-Track Thoroughbred, Tommy.
Jessica Duffy Photography was founded in June of 2009 following Jessica’s first year of college.
